"The Man-Eater" was first published in THE NEW YORK EVENING WORLD newspaper on November 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20, 1915. The first hardcover edition was published in 1957 by Science-Fiction & Fantasy Publications (along with "Beyond Thirty").
